Get your app approved and live

We take apps that are already built, make them production-ready and get them through Shopify, Meta, Google, Klaviyo, Pinterest and TikTok review.

“When TikTok shipped a breaking API change, our integration didn't even flinch. That alone pays for the partnership several times over.”

Phil Runyan, Founder & Performance Marketing Manager, NiftyCo Games

Why do apps get rejected?

Every reviewer checks the same three things: that a real business is behind the app, that you only ask for permissions you use, and that they can see each permission working. Most rejections come from a vague permission list, a screencast that skips a step, or a missing privacy requirement. We fix the app and the submission together.

Who it's for

  • Teams whose app was rejected and who don't know why
  • Agencies with a working internal tool that now needs public access
  • Founders whose developer left before the app was approved

How do we get your app approved?

Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before we start. Optional monthly retainer after handover.

  1. 1
    Week 1

Audit the app and the listing

We read the code, the scopes you request, your privacy policy, and any rejection emails. You get a list of what will fail and why.

  2. 2
    Weeks 1 to 2

    Make it production-ready

Security, token storage, error handling, compliance webhooks, data deletion, HTTPS hosting and production redirect URLs.

  3. 3
    Week 2

    Prepare the submission

One sentence of justification per permission, a narrated screencast of each permission in use, and test credentials that work.

  4. 4
    Weeks 2 to 6

    Submit and answer reviewers

We submit, answer the reviewer's questions and fix what they flag until it's approved.

  5. 5
    After approval

    Launch and monitor

Go live, watch the first installs and keep the app compliant when the platform changes its rules.

What do you get?

Everything below is yours at handover: code, docs, accounts and approvals.

  • A written audit of what would fail review
  • Code fixes for security, privacy and platform requirements
  • Permission justifications and narrated screencasts
  • Submission handled end to end, including reviewer replies
  • A production deployment on your accounts
  • Approval in your company's name, not ours

Which apps do we take through review?

Shopify public apps

Embedded apps that need OAuth on install, session tokens, compliance webhooks and Shopify billing before they can be listed.

Meta ads tools

Reporting and campaign tools that need advanced access to ads_management or ads_read for accounts outside your business.

Google Ads API tools

Dashboards and automations that need a developer token with Basic or Standard access and a verified OAuth consent screen.

TikTok and multi-platform SaaS

Products that connect many advertisers' TikTok, Pinterest or Klaviyo accounts through one approved app.

Apps another developer started

Code that works in testing but was never hardened for production or submitted for review.

Rejected submissions

Apps with rejection emails in hand. We fix the reasons and resubmit.

Which reviews do we handle?

What each review checks, and the rejection reasons we see most.

PlatformWhat review coversCommon rejection reasons
Public app review on a test store: OAuth on install, session tokens, compliance webhooks, billing through Shopify, listing and screencast.Splash page before OAuth, missing customers/redact or shop/redact webhooks, charging outside Shopify billing.
Advanced access for ads_management, ads_read and business_management, with business verification and a screencast per permission.Screencast doesn't show the permission in use, asking for permissions you don't use, no data deletion instructions.
OAuth verification for the sensitive adwords scope, brand verification, and the developer token for Basic or Standard access.Unverified domain, homepage that doesn't describe the app, a vague tool design document.
Developer app review: company profile, live website, HTTPS redirect URL and a narrow scope list.Placeholder website, selecting every scope, no deployed backend.
OAuth app setup with the scopes your integration needs, and the listing if you publish to Klaviyo's marketplace.Broad scopes, unclear data use, missing support and privacy links.
Moving from trial access to standard access, with a video of your app using the API.Demo video that doesn't show the integration working end to end.

App Approval and Launch: common questions

Can you guarantee approval?

Nobody can guarantee a reviewer's decision. What we can do is fix what reviewers reject most often before you submit, and keep working through their questions until it's approved.

Whose name is the app approved under?

Yours. We work inside your developer accounts, so the approval belongs to your company.

We were rejected already. Can you still help?

Yes. Send us the rejection emails and on the first call we'll tell you what we'd change.

Do you work on code another developer wrote?

Yes. We read the codebase first and fix what the review needs, without rewriting what already works.

How much does it cost?

Every build is fixed scope and fixed price, agreed in writing before we start. We quote after a call because a reporting dashboard and a multi-tenant SaaS are very different jobs. A monthly retainer after handover is optional.

Who owns the code?

You do. It lives in your repository and runs on your accounts from day one. If we stop working together, it keeps running as it is.

Is our client data safe? Do you sign an NDA?

Yes. We sign an NDA before we see any client account, use the official platform APIs with the narrowest permissions the job needs, and keep the data on your infrastructure.

“Scalvo replaced a roadmap item that would've eaten a full quarter. We connected Meta, Google, and TikTok in a single afternoon and never looked back.”
